6kV / 5000kW High Pressure Fan Running State
INVT in-conjunction with their Local Client was able improve Efficiency of their MV High Pressure fan by firstly installing an INVT MV AC drive Inverter which was used to reduce speed of Fan for Optimum performance. The results of this resulted in a 39% savings in Operational costs for the client. The fans operational duty is 24 hours a day for more than 300 days a year - In 2011 the cost of electricity in China was 0.734 cents kw/hr. The savings to customer amounted to R 8 471 153-00 for one year.
